Our boarding facility is located at our Monroeville, Ohio location, which is also our home.  The address is: 1991 S.R. 99, South (4 miles South of State Route 20).
Our Monroeville location offers 8 breezy picturesque acres.  The individual kennel runs are a spacious 4’ wide by 12’ long.  They are situated indoors with windows running the entire length of the building.  The building is heated in the winter months and is air-conditioned in the hot summer months for your pet's safety and comfort.

The exercise areas are large and fenced in (60’x70’ and 12’x40’).  We utilize pine bedding in each kennel, so your dog has a soft surface to lie on, and does not get that “doggy” smell associated with most boarding kennels.
Cleanliness and professional, caring interaction with each dog are priorities here.  We offer only 15 boarding kennels.  This enables us to spend quality time with each guest.

Grady and Legion - North Coast Boarding Buddi

If your dog likes to play with other dogs, he or she will have ample time to do so here.  Of course, we will always do what is safest for your dog.  We will put your dog out to play with other dogs of comparable size.   Additionally, before any dog is allowed play time with others, we do a thorough evaluation to determine that he or she will be a safe and good playmate.

Nick and Tammy are both professional dog trainers.
As such, we have a thorough understanding of dog behavior and psychology.  Our staff is small, but thoroughly trained and diligent.  You can rest assured that your pet will always be handled in a safe, appropriate manner, whether he or she is extra social or not so social.  If your dog is currently taking medication, we are happy to fulfill that duty as well.

                    Sundown at Camp North Coast

Since we have numerous outdoor exercise yards, we utilize them so your dog gets to enjoy plenty of sunshine and fresh air.  If it's a nice mild day, your pet may spend the entire day outdoors where he or she can romp and play, or just lay and snooze.  Of course, if we have rain or excessive heat, your good buddy will be brought inside.  Each evening everyone is put outside to go potty before bedtime.  Everyone is usually back inside and ready for bed by 10:00 p.m.   Since we live on the premises, the business is not left unsupervised over night.  We are here, tending the flock so to speak.

                                      Kobe with the Kids
We are a family-run business and that means the entire  family is involved.  We want your beloved pet to feel safe and secure and to have a fun, enjoyable time during his or her stay.  In fact, we have many lodgers who have become like family, such as little Kobe shown above.

Our boarding fee is $15 per day.  Drop-off and pick-up times are by appointment. (Generally 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If there are special circumstances requiring Sunday pick-up or drop-off, or late or early pick-up or drop-off, it is by appointment only and an additional fee is applied.  Please be sure to inquire when you make your booking if you require early, late and/or Sunday pickup or drop-off.

We require proof of vaccinations upon arrival.  For his or her protection, your dog must be current on DHLP, Rabies and Bordatella vaccinations.  Please be sure to double check on Bordatella, because some vets only give this vaccination if you request it.

Since we are professional trainers, you can elect to have us work with your dog during his or her stay.  This service is called In-Kennel Training and consists of basic obedience as well as modification of any behavioral problems that you might be experiencing.

Thank you for your interest in our boarding accommodations.  We hope to have the opportunity to welcome your pet into the North Coast K-9 family.
